Amulets were very significant to Egypt. They were significant because there was a lot of evil in ancient Egypt. For example, children would wear little fishes to keep away the bad spirits of the Nile. They were also used for medication. Ya I know it sounds crazy, but back in the day there wasn't much technology so they used whatever they had. If you were an Egyptian you would see any and everyone wearing an amulet.
That amulet looks like a fish.
